Grubbylar

Grubbylar looks quite fearsome, but actually isn't. He is one of those Pukiemons who tries to live by the rules. Unfortunately, as in the story "Exams" he usually finds that the rules are not very clear.

Grubbylar is a teacher, a doctor, a policeman, a train driver, a businessman.

In fact he represents every honest professional Pukiemon who live in a permanent state of dismay, because they have been constantly let down by those in authority.

Though they are often a little pedantic and unimaginative, Grubbylars are also reliable and steady pukiemons, who can always be counted on to do the right thing in the end.

The day is coming soon when all Grubbylars will be able to speak their minds. And, at the moment, they are not at all happy!!

When Grubbylars are not happy, things generally change.
